It's a boy!
So as you already know we had the ultrasound today and after much prodding our little one finally showed us what we are having. I would also like to submit this picture as proof of his Stewartness as the doctor could not get our little one to remove his little hands from either side of his face- keeping us from getting a good picture of him (I had no idea that not wanting your pictures taken was genetic)
Anyway he is very beautiful and growing very well according to the doctor, & I've probably never been more excited over a picture in my life so I'm disgustingly cheerful today. Now we will actually try to sit down and decide a name- without wasting too much time making fun of them.
I'm doing well, I've been feeling great and am now even more excited than I was before, now I just need to come up with the energy to get rid of a lot of our junk to start making some room for this little cutie- oh well I'll save that for another day.

I have toes...barely
So as you can see I still can see my feet a little bit, though I'm feeling that by the next picture they will be gone entirely from view (unless I bend over to see them, of course). Good thing I painted my toenails now I'm not sure I'll be able to reach them in a month or two.
Anyway not much news to report- still tired, uncomfortable, slightly ill from time to time & slowly growing fatter and fatter. Hope everyone is great & sleeping much more comfortably than I am.

More news
So first, I've gotten my blood work back regarding whether the baby has any defects or other weirdness (knowing the family on both side we thought it might be wise to check). It looks like we have a healthy little monster here, so its only weirdness is wanting us for its parents.
My other news is my health, I've had high blood pressure when I've gone to my doctors appointments (they haven't considered I hate visiting the doctor and this is my first child so I'm all stressed out during the appointments) so they want me to monitor it at home. Anyway so far so good, I don't have the best blood pressure I've ever had right now but it isn't the high they told me I should be screaming to the doctor for either. So anyway I'm doing well but wanted to warn everyone (or maybe just give people the opportunity) that if they annoy me I may have to stop speaking to them until after the baby is born. Again hope everyone is doing well.

A little news

So this is the latest picture taken yesterday; I'm actually getting large enough now that I'm starting to look pregnant which is a bit better than looking like I don't know how to put down the donuts (I don't but that is another matter entirely). My feet are disappearing quickly, I shall miss them while they are gone. Anyway for the news: not much. The baby is growing as it should, I'm still feeling better most of the time & have been sleeping slightly better since getting the body pillows. March 19th is the important news for now- that is the date of my ultrasound & yes if they can see we will let everyone know what we are having. Hope everyone is having a super fabu day.

How I am growing
So I starting taking pictures in January of my view of my increasing size, first one taken 9th Jan. 2008:

We are starting to buy a few more things for our little monster so the expense is not so overwhelming. We have also tried to be more diligent about looking through the name books but really so many of the names in there are meaner than even I would wish on a child. So I'm afraid our name picking so far devolves into making up horrid nicknames for the names we are reading. So thats about it for now - again nothing of any real interest. Hope everyone is having a fabu day. :)

The next was taken on the 25th of January notice the stomach is starting to make a larger appearance:
The most recent was taken on the 9th of February as you can see I have a very pudgie tummy at this point but at least I can still see my feet:

Lettuce is apparently evil
So after connecting some dots recently (dots = what I ate that caused me to puke my guts out every time), I found that the evil cause of my sickness has been lettuce. Pleasantly since I have cut this food out of my diet I'm feeling lots and lots better, including less tired, less likely to puke all day. So still no food cravings but a food aversion is in full force. My Mother said she had the same problem so it looks like a bit of genetic weirdness- the only genetic weirdness I hope I have during this wonderful time in my life. Jason is also happy with my discovery since I am slightly (only slightly) less cranky since I'm feeling better more of the time.
I'm already getting fatter- fortunately just slightly- I can still see my feet (I hope to have a picture of my early views of my growing stomach up soon- but I'm lazy right now). Anyway I hope everyone is doing great and I'll try to bore you again soon.
