My nephews & a little bit of baby news

I will start this post saying how excited I had been this year to not only to be having our our baby but the additions of several little family members that would be the same age as our wigglemonster. That being said most all my family is aware of the heartbreaking loss we had in April of our beautiful little nephew Julian, so I must say how greatful I am that my sister-in-law Kendra was in the hospital at the time that little Xander decided to make an early entrance on Friday at 32 weeks.

So although he is tiny and in a NICU until he gets to a healthier size I am very happy that we did not suffer another unbearable loss in our family. I'm still so heartsore over the loss of Julian I'm certain another loss would have turned me into a quivering mass of jell-o. But since I am still pregnant & worries keep adding up we have since Friday given wiggle many lectures that even though his older cousin did it he is not allowed to leave his womb (at least until he is actually term). I'm sure he's listening.

The latest news about wiggle: last week Jason actually got to feel our wigglemonster kick- Jason didn't say anything before I placed his hand on my stomach so I think wiggle was not aware it was his daddy until it was too late. Our childbirth classes are going well, and we are learning lots of things including that the placenta may be the grossest looking thing on the planet (really I love the birthing videos-they don't make you the slightest bit panicky about childbirth, nope not at all). So I'm still getting pretty big as you can see:

but I won't complain about that since everything else is going good- no I don't have gestational diabetes & my blood pressure is great & I actually still have a belly button at this point (amazing I know). See things are okay, I won't even complain about all the leaning wiggle is doing lately- even the leaning against my hipbone that makes me walk like Igor- yep things are okay.

Now that I'm a little less lazy I'll post something

So anyway I'm sorry that I posted nothing last month but there really wasn't anything going on with my pregnancy, but since I now have more news I'll try to not be as lazy. First I only took a picture at the beginning of last month but since my feet are still missing it is not very interesting (I decided not to post it since it is pretty boring) so this month I thought I'd be nice and show you the side view:
As you can see I'm getting enormous- okay I admit it I'm already there. Anyway what is going on with our little wigglemonster? Jason and I have decided on a first name but are still working on the middle name- we'd hate to ruin the surprise for all of you so we'll let you know what we decided after we've decided on both :P Wiggle still has not been felt by anyone but me- he is a huge kick tease. He'll be kicking me like crazy and then Jason will put his hand there to feel him and he'll stop kicking, he'll just tickle the spot right above where his daddy's hand is resting (who knew he'd be as big a brat as his parents?). We've started birthing classes- the first class wasn't so bad but I think if they want the dads to participate in the activities I think they should make them a little less woman-centric, like during the breathing and meditation section I'm not sure if Jason was able to relax his uterus but the idea made me giggle hard enough that I'm pretty sure I didn't relax mine. Otherwise it has some good information so far- I'm already sleeping better after learning a few things in class. In other news my gestational diabeties test was abnormal so I have to take the full test next week- I'm really not excited & I hope this next one goes well. Other than that things are much the same, but I'll try to fill you in a little bit better in the future.
