Laura had her first official ObGyn appointment on the 24th of January. She got the joy of hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time :)
The doctor has confirmed that the expected due date for the little cretin is August 8th. We will most likely find out what the monster's sex will be mid March-ish. We will post here with all of the pertinent information (and a bunch of less than pertinent information) as it is gained.
In the mean time, Laura is nearly unbearable.....
Just kidding...............maybe....
Heaving, hurling, and whining.....
Sounds like this thing is progressing normally....we will keep you all posted.

Really glad to hear 1st appointment went well. Sorry to hear you are going to find out the sex, thought you might want the surprise. Anyway all anyone wants is a happy healthy BABY. Can't wait. Also sorry to hear still heaving, hurling can't imagine Laura doing any whining--are you sure about the whining?

Also it is still going to be I surprise I don't know what it will be yet (so no matter when I find out I will be surprised). I just like the idea of finding out when I can be happy about it instead of tired, sore & covered with bodily fluids (not so happy then are we). :)

This is true it will be a great surprise anytime.
Now about the tired, sore and bodily fluids---sometimes that can last several years!!!!! It's called having kids. Sorry.
